Many of us are faced with the daunting task of remodeling on a budget. Such was the case with this Thessaloniki, Greece based apartment when .27 Architects got their hands on it.
Due to budget constraints, the design team focused on renovating the existent apartment components versus actual remodeling or reconstructing. The most noteworthy improvement lies in the new wooden floor that was constructed just 40cm above the marble floor that already existed in the apartment. This allowed the space between the gap for functional additions to the home including sitting areas, and even an in ground library.
