Tag Front Architects are renowned for much of their hospitality works in and around the Southern California markets. This firm has designed many L.A. hotspots including Geisha House, the Boa locations including one in Las Vegas, and Katana. One of their latest is Takami in the Downtown district of Los Angeles.

The sushi and Robata restaurant boast some of the best patio views in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles’ booming Financial District. Located on the ever popular Wilshire Blvd, this place is in the prime spot for the views of L.A. city life.

Some of the noteworthy elements of this 14,200 square foot space include a 7,000 square foot, 360-degree patio with sweeping views of the city that can be enjoyed in the restaurant’s dining room, in the private event space and in the bar. Internal touches include a glass enclosed wine room with a floor to ceiling wine display, multiple fire elements and ceilings made of Red Balau wood slats in the restaurant and a cube shape suspended metal ceiling in the lounge. It’s certainly a brilliant combination of raw materials and contemporary touches– just what L.A. is all about.
