Over the past few years designers and architects alike have become obsessed with shipping containers being integrated into design. We have encountered several different projects revolving around shipping containers, including a Starbucks location constructed entirely from recycled containers.
Renowned Brazilian architect Marcio Kogan introduces a new project that utilizes shipping containers as an actual residence. The residents were limited to the amount of space they could occupy with these containers, so to overcome this barrier Kogan stacked several vibrantly colored shipping containers to create more living space with the limited land the owners have. The house is located in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and was completed during 2011.
