Scandinavian Design has been overrun by all things Ikea, but when looking into a contemporary designed home by JVA Norwegian Architects the beauty is all brought back into every facet of the home. Forget neutrals and standard stucco, this home tucked away in Oslo, Norway is completely red.
There are plenty of gorgeous views surrounding this home, and it’s got two spacious levels with various orientations to gain the most from the natural views that are encompassed on the wooded land.
The floor plan of this particular house is a bit different than your modern day Western home– with the main (or master) bedroom right off of the entrance, coupled near the kitchen and living room, but it makes for a nice single level if the remainder of the rooms are left as guest or light use spaces.
The beauty and splendor of this red home in the wintery Norwegian months can be viewed along with the attention to detail in the wood joining and architectural interest within the beams and exterior angles.
