Furniture design can be a process based system, or an organically evolving art– and the beauty of it is that there’s no right or wrong. Netherlands based designers Tejo Remy & René Veenhuizen have done what they do best– bring found goods into new situations with the limited edition Bamboo Chair.
In today’s eco-conscious society, bamboo has become one of natural resources that’s almost synonymous with “green design.” So in comes the curiously molded bamboo chair, with the reclaimed pieces perfectly bent and intertwined together to create a bucket like seat reminiscent of an old school swing.
Bamboo is incredibly strong and resilient– not to mention it is one of the fastest growing plants in our ecosystem. Makes this chair look like an ingenious work of art.
