Brisbane Australia is home to the latest room-based interactive art display called “The Obliteration Room.” The art exhibition going on at Brisbane’s Gallery of Modern Art has been spearheaded by innovator and artist Yayoi Kusama, who set up an entire room to be painted white– and then consequently be “obliterated.”
Yayoi has done this piece as a part of her “Look Now, See Forever” project that’s on display until March 11, 2012– and the entirely white room became a fun project for visitors to the GOMA, who were given thousands upon thousands of various colored dot stickers to add to the room.
The dots continue to be added on throughout the course of Kusama’s exhibition and as you can see, the room which was set up to look like the standard Aussie family room has become an interactive work of art by the kids, adults and visitors of the gallery down under.
