Northern Italy's Vibrantly Colored Town of Manarola

Posted 487 days ago by

Located in the northern part of Italy, Manarola is a beautiful little cliff side town drenched in vibrant colored architecture.

The small town dates all the way back to year 1338, and spills down into the coastline of the Ligurian Sea,  an arm of the Mediterranean Sea that is nestled between the Italian Riviera and the island of Corsica. Although no beaches are present in this quaint residential area, travelers and locals alike have fallen in love with the deep water swimming adventures experienced at the town’s local swimming hole. The area is rather small, but is renowned for their famous tourist attractions which include many walking and hiking trails throughout both the hills and vineyard that are located just above the city.
