Ligne Roset is one of those über high-end furniture companies that we all look to to see what’s hot for the season, and the unexpected route they tend to take with their simplistic, yet beautiful designs. Their latest design collaboration with Danish designers GamFratesi isn’t all that astonishing, but rather a clever play on a well known item– the picnic basket.
Available in black stained ash, this is much different than your ordinary wicker carry-all. But it’s not intended for your weekend lunch adventure outing, rather, it is more of an accent piece for your home. ‘Picnic‘ sits on a simple frame, and the curvilinear handle makes moving it a cinch.
This piece would make a great side table in any room, holding a guests personal items, or the stowing of a remote in the living room. But in any case, it can be moved easily and quickly for any situation that might come up.
